General Rules and Conditions

• Height and all other restrictions apply on rides.
• Ocean Beach reserves the right to withdraw or change Food and Ticket/Wristband offers without prior notice.
• Alcohol is not permitted within Ocean Beach Pleasure Park unless in a licenced area.
• On very rare occasions weather can stop play.
• Rides and attractions may be temporarily closed, withdrawn or otherwise unavailable at any time due to technical or operational reasons, power failure or unforeseen weather conditions.
• The Management reserves the right to close early for the safety of our guests.
• See Opening Timesfor hours and days open.
• Vouchers are not transferable and accordingly may not be sold or passed to any third party without prior permission.
• Vouchers will be retained by Ocean Beach Pleasure Park at the point of sale.

Pay as you Play Tickets

• Ocean Beach reserves the right to withdraw or change Food or Ticket offers without prior notice.
• Tickets have no valid dates and can be used throughout the season.
• Any “Special Offers” cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
• In order to receive this offer a discount voucher or email vouchershould be shown.
• If buying online, confirmation of your purchase will be emailed to your registered email address which you must presented to the cashier. This must clearly state your purchase number and you may be required to provide proof of identification.

Wristbands

• Wristbands are available to use between 12noon – 5pm.
• Wristbands are only available to persons 1.2m and above.
• Wristbands are only valid on designated Wristband Days and are not available to purchase or use on Bank Holidays unless otherwise stated.
• Rides available are subject to change, temporary closure or exclusion with no prior warning.
• If buying online, confirmation of your purchase will be emailed to your registered email address which you must presented to the cashier. This must clearly state your purchase number and you may be required to provide proof of identification.
• Our wristband offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
• Should bad weather conditions stop play, it is at the Management’s discretion to allow Wristbands purchased online (but not yet redeemed) to be used on an alternative day.
• A Fair Usage Policy applies to all wristbands and users must be aware of this. Amusement rides may take up to 10 minutes before starting.

Loyalty Cards

• Customers can receive a Loyalty Card on purchasing our £25 worth of Tickets for £15.
• 10% off food and Drink Discount will be given to each stamp collected on the Loyalty Card shown at participating food outlets at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park.
• In order to receive your free tickets you must ensure that your contact details are completed on the reverse of the loyalty card.
• Loyalty Cards can not be redeemed on Bank Holidays.

Corporate Membership Cards

• Discounts only available on production of a Corporate Membership Card.
• Ocean Beach reserves the right to withdraw or change Food or Ticket offers without prior notice.
• Any “Special Offers” cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
• Stamps are collected each time £15 is spent on Ride Tickets. Once 5 stamps have been collected you will receive 20 free Ride Tickets (worth £10).
• Stamps can be collected but not redeemed on Bank Holidays.
• Completed details will be added to our mailing list in order to send details of events and special offers.

£1 Nights

• These Tickets can only be used on £1 nights.
• Most rides require 1 ticket however some of the large rides will require 2 tickets.
• Ride Tickets previously purchased before 5pm on ‘£1 Nights’ are NOT included in this offer.
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
• If buying online, confirmation of your purchase will be emailed to your registered email address which you must presented to the cashier. This must clearly state your purchase number and you may be required to provide proof of identification.

Laserforce

• Games last 20 minutes including a short briefing and debrief/scores
• One Membership Card is issued per person
• A replacement fee will be charged for lost or missing cards

School Trip Offers

• Half Price tickets available to schools, educational facilities, charities and other groups.
• School visits using Half Price tickets must be booked 48 hours in advance.
• A minimum purchase amount may be required depending on the date of your visit.
• Proof of establishment will be required.
• Ocean Beach Pleasure Park accepts no responsibility for the supervision of any child.
• Risk Assessment and Public Liability Insurance available upon request.
• All children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
• On very rare occasions weather can stop play. If weather conditions deem necessary, Management reserves the right to close early for the safety of our guests.

Tesco Reward Tokens

• Clubcard Vouchers must be exchanged for Clubcard Reward Tokens via Tesco.
• Tesco Reward Tokens cannot be redeemed on Bank Holidays.
• Tesco Ride Tickets will not be accepted on Bank Holidays.
• Reward Tokens are redeemed for single tokens worth 50p each.
• No cash alternative.
• No change will be given.
• To redeem Reward Tokens during our closed season (November to mid-February) call 0191 455 3885 and explain you wish to redeem Tesco vouchers, along with the amount and when you’re able to collect.

Birthday Parties

• Each birthday child who attends with 10 or more Birthday Friends each purchasing one of either of our Thrill Seeker Ride Wristbands or Pay as you Play Ticket Offers will be entitled to a FREE Thrill Seeker Wristband or Pay as you Play Tickets up to the same value.
• Birthday Party must be booked and paid 2 days prior to visit with proof of birthday.
• Wristbands can only be used on designated wristband days.
• Day of visit can be either 7 days prior or 7 days after day of birthday date.

10% off Food & Drink

• The discount only applies to those Food Outlets which displays the relevant notice.

Carers Passes

• Carers Passes are issued at the discretion of and by Ocean Beach Management only in conjunction with the purchase of ride tickets for the person requiring care.
• Carers must complete a form AND provide satisfactory ID
• Only Onecarer per person being cared for may ride with a valid pass and special wristband
• Carer may not ride alone under any circumstances
• On Bank Holidays and Special Event days, when our own Wristband’s are not available, it is also the management’s discretion whether to issue Carer’s passes/wristbands, due to increased visitor numbers and the safety of all park visitors
• Passes are issued on a ‘fair usage’ basis any abuse of this system may result in passes being withdrawn
• Ocean Beach reserves the right to cancel any carer’s pass used incorrectly

Mayors Charity Day

• Ride Cards can only be purchased from South Tyneside Council
• These are only valid on event day itself between 12noon-3pm
• Card must be presented to go on ride
• Name of ride will be crossed out once “free” ride used
• Should you wish to go on the ride again, tickets/tokens must be used
• From 3pm all rides will require tickets/tokens which can be purchased from the token machines or Arcades
• Height and all other restrictions apply on rides
• Rides and attractions may be temporarily closed, withdrawn or otherwise unavailable at any time due to technical or operational reasons, power failure or unforeseen weather conditions
• There are 2 types of Ride Cards (1) 1.2m and above (2) Under 1.2m
• Ocean Beach Pleasure Park are not responsible for the wrong card(s) being purchased
• No refunds can be given by Ocean Beach Pleasure Park
• Any queries or issues about the cards are to be raised with South Tyneside Council on 0191 424 7311

Cash for Kids Charity Day

• Ride Cards can only be obtained from Metro Radio Cash for Kids
• These are only valid on the date and time stipulated on the card
• Card must be presented to go on ride
• Name of ride will be crossed out once “free” ride used
• Should you wish to go on the ride again, tickets/tokens must be used
• From 2pm all rides will require tickets/tokens which can be purchased from the token machines or Middle Arcade
• Height and all other restrictions apply on rides
• Rides and attractions may be temporarily closed, withdrawn or otherwise unavailable at any time due to technical or operational reasons, power failure or unforeseen weather conditions
• There are 2 types of Ride Cards (1) 1.2m and above (2) Under 1.2m
• Ocean Beach Pleasure Park are not responsible for the wrong card(s) being obtained
• Any queries or issues about the cards are to be raised with Cash for Kids at Metro Radio

Competitions

• All competitions run relating to Ocean Beach, Laserforce and Urban Wave are subject to these terms and conditions.
• Prizes are offered subject to availability and must be collected in person unless otherwise stated.
• Collection of prizes must be made in a timely manner otherwise they can be forfeited.
• Specific rules and entry requirements are given wherever competitions are displayed in print, on our website or social media and subject to each platforms entry requirements.
